Kavaledurg Fort Palace is an amazing place to visit on an weekend. It has several fresh water ponds and a well preserved bathing pool. It is a historical marvel in the sense, you will never find it till you stumble on it through a narrow path amongst well cultivated paddy fields. The Keladi Nayaks used it as a secret hide-out and guarded it well.
